Privacy
This page covers two things: the “Join the waitlist” form on holobell.com, and the promises the app itself is built around. The app’s full privacy notice will be published here before launch.
The waitlist
We keep your email address, the fact that you ticked the box, and when. Nothing else: no name, no tracking cookies, no analytics on this site.
To stop the form being spammed we also keep a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your internet address for one day. It can’t be turned back into the address.
We use it to email you once, when HoloBell is ready to try. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We keep it until six months after launch, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. Every email we send has a link to leave the list.
The app, in short
- Under-18s only use HoloBell through a parent’s account, and parents see everything.
- No advertising, and we never sell or share your data.
- Your binder and chase list belong to you: export or delete them from the app, any time.
- Alerts use your rough location (the shops you pick, or a town) to find stock near you. The app never tracks where you go.
- There is no messaging at launch. If trading arrives later it will be adults only, with age checks, and we’ll update this page first.
- Pokémon card data and images come from public card databases and are shown, not stored by us.
Who handles it
HoloBell (Steve Metcalfe) is the controller. The waitlist is stored by Supabase in the UK/EU region, and this site is hosted by Vercel.
Your rights
